Subhadrā’s Petition to Kṛṣṇa for the Revival of Parīkṣit (अभिमन्युज-प्राणरक्षा-प्रार्थना)
एवमुक्ते ततः कुन्तीं पर्यगृह्नाज्जनार्दन: । भूमौ निपतितां चैनां सान्त्वयामास भारत
evam ukte tataḥ kuntīṁ paryagṛhṇāj janārdanaḥ | bhūmau nipatitāṁ caināṁ sāntvayāmāsa bhārata ||
その言葉が語られるや、ジャナールダナ（クリシュナ）はクンティーを支えるように抱き取り、起こして座らせた。地に伏す彼女を見て、彼は父方の叔母を慰め始めた、バーラタよ——戦後の余波のただ中で、ダルマが慈悲と親族の務めとして現れる行いであった。
