Parīkṣit-janma-saṃkaṭa and Kuntī’s petition to Vāsudeva (परिक्षिज्जन्मसंकटं कुन्त्याः प्रार्थना च)
इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत आश्वमेधिकपरव्वके अन्तर्गत अनुगीतापर्वमें द्रव्य लानेका उपक्रमविषयक चौंयठवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraṁ śrīmahābhārata āśvamedhika-parvaṇi antargata anugītā-parvaṇi dravya-lānopakrama-viṣayakaḥ catuḥṣaṣṭitamo ’dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ
かくして、尊き『マハーバーラタ』の「アシュヴァメーディカ・パルヴァ」に含まれる「アヌギーター」章において、必要なる資具を運び集める企てを説く第六十四章は終わった。此の結語（章末の記）は、教示より実際の準備へと移ることを告げ、正しき目的は整然たる努力と相応の手段によって支えられるべきことを強調する。
