उपहार-विधानम्, यक्षपूजा, रत्ननिध्युद्धारः

अद्यैव नक्षत्रमहश्न पुण्यं यतामहे श्रेष्ठतमक्रियासु । अम्भोभिरद्येह वसाम राज- न्नुपोष्यतां चापि भवद्धिरद्य

adyaiva nakṣatra-mahaś ca puṇyaṃ yatāmahe śreṣṭhatama-kriyāsu | ambhobhir adyeha vasāma rājan upoṣyatāṃ cāpi bhavadbhir adya ||

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「王よ、まさに今日こそ吉祥の星宿に当たり、清浄なる佳日である。ゆえに今日より、最上の儀礼へ向けての努めを始めよう。我らは本日ここに留まり、水のみを口にして過ごす。汝もまた今日、斎戒して断食すべきである。」
