Adhyāya 51: Kṛṣṇa’s Leave-Taking and Departure for Dvārakā (द्वारकागमनानुमति)
एषा गतिर्विरक्तानामेष धर्म: सनातन: । एषा ज्ञानवतां प्राप्तिरेतद् वृत्तमनिन्दितम्,यही विरक्त पुरुषोंकी गति है, यही सनातन धर्म है, यही ज्ञानियोंका प्राप्तव्य स्थान है और यही अनिन्दित सदाचार है
eṣā gatir viraktānām eṣa dharmaḥ sanātanaḥ | eṣā jñānavatāṃ prāptir etad vṛttam aninditam ||
ヴァーユは言った。「これこそ執着を離れた者たちの定められた行路、これこそ永遠のダルマである。これこそ賢者が求める到達であり、これこそ非難なき行いの規範である。」
वायुदेव उवाच
Detachment (vairāgya) and knowledge-oriented living are presented as the eternal Dharma: the wise aim at this very attainment, and such a life is described as ethically blameless (anindita).
Vāyu (the wind-god) speaks in a didactic tone, affirming and authoritatively endorsing a particular spiritual-ethical path as the proper goal and conduct for the detached and the wise.
