Brahmopadeśa on Saṃnyāsa, Tapas, and Jñāna (ब्रह्मोपदेशः—संन्यासतपोज्ञानविमर्शः)

nirdvandvo nirmamaskāro niḥsvadhākāra eva ca | nirguṇaṁ nityam advandvaṁ praśameneva gacchati ||

Educational Q&A

A true renunciant transcends social validation and ritual identity; through praśama (inner tranquillity) and freedom from dualities, one realizes the eternal, nirguṇa Reality beyond the guṇas.

Vāyu-deva is instructing about the marks and fruit of genuine saṁnyāsa: abandoning dependence on honor and certain ritual obligations, the renunciant attains the non-dual, eternal principle through profound calm.
