प्रत्यब्रुवं महाबाहो यथाश्रुतमरिंदम । शत्रुदमन महाबाहु माधव! उस ब्राह्मणके इस प्रकार पूछनेपर मैंने जैसा सुना था वैसा ही उसे बताया

Transliteration

pratyabruvaṃ mahābāho yathāśrutam ariṃdama | śatrudamana mahābāhu mādhava! |

Translation

私は答えた。おお大臂よ、敵を屈する者よ——聞き伝えたとおりに、寸分違わず。おおマーダヴァよ、そのバラモンがこのように私に問うたとき、私は受け継いだままの次第を、歪めることなく語って聞かせた。
