Vaiśampāyana uvāca | paurajānapadāś caiva rājabhakti-puraskṛtāḥ | gaṅgāṃ prajagmūr abhito vāsasaikena saṃvṛtāḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。都の民も国の民もまた、王への忠誠を第一として同行した。皆が一枚の衣をまとい、連れ立ってガンガーの河畔へ赴き、その周りに集まった。
