धृतराष्ट्राश्रमगमनम् — The Pandavas’ Procession to Dhritarashtra’s Hermitage
ऑपनआक्रात छा अ्-क्ज एकत्रिशो< ध्याय: व्यासजीके द्वारा धृतराष्ट्र आदिके पूर्वजन्मका परिचय तथा उनके कहनेसे सब लोगोंका गड़ा-तटपर जाना व्यास उवाच भद्दे द्रक्ष्यसि गान्धारि पुत्रान् भ्रातून् सखींस्तथा । वधूश्न पतिभि: सार्ध निशि सुप्तोत्थिता इव
Vyāsa uvāca — bhadre drakṣyasi gāndhāri putrān bhrātṝn sakhīṁs tathā | vadhvaś ca patibhiḥ sārdhaṁ niśi suptotthitā iva ||
ヴィヤーサは言った。「気高きガーンダーリーよ、今宵、汝は汝の子ら、汝の兄弟たち、そしてその友らをも目にするであろう。汝の嫁たちは夫たちとともに、夜の眠りから起き上がったかのように現れる。」
व्यास उवाच
The verse frames a compassionate, dharmic consolation: even amid irreversible loss, the bereaved are granted a moment of vision that softens grief and affirms the moral order (karma and the continuity of beings beyond death).
Vyāsa foretells that Gāndhārī will, that very night, see her dead sons and their associates, and that the widowed women will appear with their husbands—like people who have simply awakened—preparing the scene for a consolatory revelation.
