सुस्वरं रुरुदे धीमान् मातु: पादावुपस्पृशन् । फिर तो समस्त पाण्डव अपने ताऊके दर्शनकी इच्छासे बड़ी उतावलीके साथ आगे बढ़े। बुद्धिमान् सहदेव तो बड़े वेगसे दौड़े और जहाँ कुन्ती थी

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。賢きサハデーヴァは母の足に触れ、澄みわたる響きの声で声高く泣いた。長老（ドリタラーシュトラ）を拝せんとの思いに駆られ、パーンダヴァらは皆あわただしく前へ進んだが、サハデーヴァは勢いよく先んじてクンティのもとへ走り、母の両足を抱きしめ、抑えがたい慟哭にくずれた—それは孝と敬老、そして苦難の後の再会が負う道義の重みを示すものであった。
