Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
परिचर्या बने तां तु क्षुत्प्रतिघातकारिकाम् । अन्योन्येन निवेद्याथ प्रातिष्ठन्त सहैव ते
paricaryā vane tāṁ tu kṣutpratighātakārikām | anyonyena nivedyātha prātiṣṭhanta sahaiva te ||
ビーシュマは語った。互いの無事を告げ合ったのち、彼らは「飢えをしのぐため、この森を巡って食を求めている」と言い、連れ立ってそこを立ち去った。
भीष्म उवाच
Even in scarcity, one should uphold dharmic conduct—mutual courtesy (inquiring after welfare), cooperation, and disciplined effort to meet basic needs without abandoning ethical behavior.
After exchanging well-being and explaining that they are moving about the forest to obtain food and relieve hunger, the group departs together, engaging in the practical tasks needed for survival.
