लेभिरे परम हर्ष मेनिरे चासुरं हतम्‌ । ततो देवा: प्रियाण्यस्य सर्व एव समाहरन्‌

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | lebhire parama-harṣaṁ menire cāsuraṁ hatam | tato devāḥ priyāṇy asya sarva eva samāharan |

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。彼らは至上の歓喜を得て、その阿修羅が討たれると確信した。そこで神々は皆集い、彼の好む愛蔵の供物を取りそろえて携えて来た。（物語の流れでは、仙人たちが童子を讃え、乾闥婆がその名声を歌う。かくも光輝に満ちた非凡の姿を見て、神々はそれを吉兆と受け取り、タラカーアスラの終焉が今や確実であると悟った。）
