Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa

परीयुज्वलनस्यार्थे न चाविन्दन् हुताशनम् । मेढकोंसे ऐसा कहकर देवता पुनः अग्निकी खोजके लिये इस पृथ्वीपर विचरने लगे; किंतु वे अग्निदेवको कहीं उपलब्ध न कर सके
parīyujvalanasyārthe na cāvindan hutāśanam |
ビーシュマは語った。「聖なる火を再び燃え立たせる術を求めたが、アグニ（火神）を見いだすことはできなかった。」こうして蛙に言い終えると、神々は再び地上を遍歴してアグニを探したが、どこにもその姿を見出せなかった――秩序が乱れるとき、神聖なる力は神々の前からさえ隠れうることを示している。
