Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
स तु नावाप त॑ शापं नष्ट: स हुतभुक् तदा । तस्माद् वो भयह्ृद् देवा: समुत्पत्स्यति पावकि:
sa tu nāvāpa taṁ śāpaṁ naṣṭaḥ sa hutabhuk tadā | tasmād vo bhayahṛd devāḥ samutpatsyati pāvakiḥ ||
ビーシュマは言った。「だが実のところ、彼はその呪詛を負わなかった。呪いは解かれ、その時彼はフタブク（供物を食する者、すなわち火）となった。ゆえに、神々よ、恐れを除く火は、（再び）汝らの中に起こるであろう。」
