Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
मरीचिभ्यो मरीचिस्तु मारीच: कश्यपो हाभूत् | अंगारेभ्यो5ज़ितिस्तात वालखिल्या: कुशोच्चयात्
marīcibhyo marīcis tu mārīcaḥ kaśyapo hābhūt | aṅgārebhyo 'ṅgirās tāta vālakhilyāḥ kuśoccayāt ||
ヴァシシュタは語った。「光芒（マリーチ）から聖仙マリーチが生まれ、その子はマリーチの裔として『カश्यパ（Kaśyapa）』の名で名高くなった。愛しき者よ、熾火からは『アンギラ（Aṅgirā）』が生じ、クシャ草（kuśa）の積み重ねからは『ヴァーラキリヤ（Vālakhilyas）』と呼ばれる仙人たちが顕れた。」
