शास्त्रप्रामाण्यसूक्ष्मं तु विधिं पिण्डस्य संस्मरन्‌ | ततो दर्भेषु तत्‌ सर्वमदर्द भरतर्षभ

Transliteration

śāstraprāmāṇyasūkṣmaṃ tu vidhiṃ piṇḍasya saṃsmaran | tato darbheṣu tat sarvam adarda bharatarṣabha ||

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。「ピṇḍa供献に関する、シャーストラにより権威づけられた微妙な作法を心に刻み、私は眼前に現れたものに屈しなかった。シャーストラのみを決定の権威として、バーラタ族の雄牛よ、定められた儀礼に従い、すべてのピṇḍaをダルバ草（darbha）の上に供えた。」
