Suvarṇa-dāna: Kārttikeya’s Origin and the Defeat of Tāraka (सुवर्णदान-प्रसङ्गे कार्त्तिकेय-उत्पत्ति तथा तारकवधः)
युरभ्युवाच वरेण भगवन् महां कृतं लोकपितामह । एष एव वरो मेडद्य यत् प्रीतोडसि ममानघ
surabhī uvāca—bhagavan, niṣpāpa lokapitāmaha! mama vara-grahaṇasya kācid āvaśyakatā nāsti. mama tu sarvottamo vara eṣa eva yat adya tvaṁ mayi prasanno 'si, anagha.
スラビーは言った。「おお祝福された御方よ、罪なき世の祖父よ。私はいかなる恩寵も求める必要はございません。私にとって最大の恩寵はただ一つ――今日、あなたが私に満足してくださったこと、それのみでございます。おお、瑕なき御方よ。」
