शूरा बहुविधा: प्रोक्तास्तेषामर्थास्तु मे शृणु । शूरान्वयानां निर्दिष्ट फलं शूरस्य चैव हि
bhīṣma uvāca | śūrā bahuvidhāḥ proktās teṣām arthāṁs tu me śṛṇu | śūrānvayānāṁ nirdiṣṭaṁ phalaṁ śūrasya caiva hi ||
ビーシュマは言った。「英雄には多くの種類が説かれている。いま、その意図するところを私が解き明かすゆえ、聞きなさい。さらに、かかる英雄の子孫に対しても、英雄その人に対しても、定められた果報を述べよう。」
