Nakṣatra-yoga-anusāreṇa Dāna-vidhiḥ
Gifts prescribed according to lunar mansions and yogas
येषां दारा: प्रतीक्षन्ते पर्जन्यमिव कर्षका: । जैसे किसान वर्षाकी बाट जोहते रहते हैं
yeṣāṃ dārāḥ pratīkṣante parjanyam iva karṣakāḥ |
ビーシュマは言った。「妻たちが不安な望みを抱いて待つ者たち——農夫が雨を待つように——家に座して食を待ち、子らに『父上はいまにも食事を携えて戻って来る』と告げて宥めている者たち——そのようなバラモンが、そなたの家で食を受けてから自らの家へ帰ったことがあるか。」
