On the Fruits of Austerity and Giving
पश्य भद्ठे यथा भावाश्षित्रा दृष्टा: सुदुर्लभा: । प्रसादाद् भगुमुख्यस्य किमन्यत्र तपोबलात्
paśya bhadre yathā bhāvāś citrā dṛṣṭāḥ sudurlabhāḥ | prasādād bhṛgumukhyasya kim anyatra tapobalāt ||
ビーシュマは語った。「気高き御方よ、見よ——かくも不思議で、しかもこの上なく稀なる顕現を、われらは目の当たりにした。もしブリグ族の最勝者の御慈悲によらずして、いずこよりこの光景が生じ得ようか。苦行（タパス）より生まれる力のほか、何がこれを授け得よう。」
