Adhyāya 57: Tapas–Dāna Phala
On the Fruits of Austerity and Giving
विस्मयं परम॑ प्राप्तस्तद् दृष्टया महदद्भुतम् । ततः प्रोवाच कुशिको भार्या हर्षसमन्वित:
vismayaṁ paramaṁ prāptas tad dṛṣṭvā mahad adbhutam | tataḥ provāca kuśiko bhāryāṁ harṣa-samanvitaḥ ||
ビーシュマは語った。「その大いなる奇瑞を見て、クシカはこの上ない驚嘆に満たされた。やがて胸に歓びを湛え、クシカ王は、いま目にしたものに心を揺さぶられつつ、王妃に向かって言葉を発した。」
