Cyavana–Kuśika Dialogue on Lineage, Conflict, and Transmission
न च तौ चक्रतुः क्रोधं॑ दम्पती सुमहामती । तयो: सम्प्रेक्षतोरेव पुनरन्तर्हितो5भवत्,परंतु उन परम बुद्धिमान् दम्पतिने उनपर क्रोध नहीं प्रकट किया। उन दोनोंके देखते- ही-देखते वे मुनि फिर अन्तर्धान हो गये
na ca tau cakratuḥ krodhaṁ dampatī sumahāmatī | tayoḥ samprekṣator eva punar antarhito 'bhavat ||
ビーシュマは語った。「しかし、至高の智慧を備えたその夫婦は、彼らに対して怒りを現さなかった。二人が見つめるそのさなか、聖仙は再び姿を消した——挑発されようとも、報復より自己抑制と忍耐が勝ることを示している。」
