कीर्तन श्रवर्णं दान॑ दर्शनं चापि पार्थिव | गवां प्रशस्यते वीर सर्वपापहरं शिवम्‌

Transliteration

kīrtanaśravaṇaṁ dānaṁ darśanaṁ cāpi pārthiva | gavāṁ praśasyate vīra sarvapāpaharaṁ śivam ||

Translation

王よ、勇士よ、経典は牛に関する次の行いを大いに讃える。すなわち、牛の名と徳を称えて唱えること、それを聴聞すること、牛を施与すること、そしてただ牛を拝見することさえも。これらはことごとく吉祥とされ、あらゆる罪を除き、最高の安寧へと導くと説かれている。
