इति श्रीमहा भारते अनुशासनपर्वणि दानधर्मपर्वणि विवाहधर्मे पुत्रप्रतिनिधिकथने एकोनपज्चाशत्तमो< ध्याय:

かくして、尊き『マハーバーラタ』アヌシャーサナ・パルヴァのうち—とりわけダーナ・ダルマ(布施の法)の章段にして、婚姻のダルマの文脈において—「子を得るための代理者の任命」を説く第四十九章は終わる。章末の詞書は、この論議が私欲ではなく、規定された義務と社会倫理の秩序として位置づけられていることを示す。
