ते चापि सदृशं वर्ण जनयन्ति स्वयोनिषु | परस्परस्य दारेषु जनयन्ति विगर्हितान्
te cāpi sadṛśaṃ varṇaṃ janayanti svayoniṣu | parasparasya dāreṣu janayanti vigarhitān |
ビーシュマは言った。「混成の身分に生まれた者たちも、同類の内で結べば、自分たちに似た（混成の）子をもうける。だが、互いに他人の妻—異なる集団の女—と関係すれば、生まれる子は彼ら自身よりもなお咎められるものと見なされる。」
