सदैवोग्रतपा राजन्नग्न्यर्कसदृशद्युति: । धर्मज्ञ: सत्यवादी च तथेति प्रत्यभाषत । पुनश्चेद॑ं महाराज पप्रच्छ प्रस्थितं गुरुम्
bhīṣma uvāca |
sadaivogratapā rājann agny-arka-sadṛśa-dyutiḥ |
dharmajñaḥ satyavādī ca tatheti pratyabhāṣata |
punaś cedam mahārāja papraccha prasthitaṃ gurum ||
ビーシュマは言った。「王よ、ヴィプラは常に厳しい苦行に励み、火と太陽のように輝き、ダルマを知り真実を語る者であった。彼は『そのとおりに』と答えて師の命を受けた。やがて、大王よ、師が旅立とうとする時、ヴィプラは再び次のように問いかけた。」
