भीष्म उवाच इत्युक्तो विपुलस्तेन तपस्वी नियतेन्द्रिय:

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | ity ukto vipulas tena tapasvī niyatendriyaḥ |

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。こう告げられると、感官をよく制した苦行者ヴィプラは、「そのとおりに」と答えて教えを受け入れた。火と太陽のごとき光輝を備え、厳しい苦行に堅く住し、ダルマと真実に帰依する彼は、師の命に従った。やがて師が旅立とうとする時、ヴィプラは再びこのように問いかけた。
