Adhyāya 39 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s inquiry on attachment (saṅga) and relational restraint
इति श्रीमहाभारते अनुशासनपर्वणि दानधर्मपर्वणि ब्राह्मणप्रशंसायामिन्द्रशम्बरसंवादे षट्त्रिंशो5ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate anuśāsanaparvaṇi dānadharmaparvaṇi brāhmaṇapraśaṃsāyām indraśambarasaṃvāde ṣaṭtriṃśo 'dhyāyaḥ
かくして『聖なるマハーバーラタ』のうち、アヌシャーサナ・パルヴァ—とりわけ布施のダルマを説く章段—において、バラモン讃嘆の段、インドラとシャンバラの対話の中で、第三十六章はここに終わる。この章末の詞は、法（ダルマ）に導かれた施与と、バラモンの徳の高揚という倫理的枠組みを示し、教誨的な神々の対話として提示している。
