सन्ति चाशीविषसमा: सन्ति मन्दास्तथापरे । विविधानीह वृत्तानि ब्राह्मणानां युधिष्ठिर
santi cāśīviṣasamāḥ santi mandās tathāpare | vividhānīha vṛttāni brāhmaṇānāṃ yudhiṣṭhira ||
ビーシュマは言った。「ユディシュティラよ、婆羅門の中には毒蛇のように恐るべき者もいれば、温和でおとなしい性の者もいる。この世において、婆羅門の気質と振る舞いは実にさまざまである。」
