पात्रलक्षण-परिक्षा (Pātra-Lakṣaṇa Parīkṣā) — Criteria for a Worthy Recipient
तेषामेव प्रभावेण सहस्ननयनो हासौ । शतक्रतु: समभवत् पश्य माधव यादृशम्
teṣām eva prabhāveṇa sahasranayano hy asau | śatakratuḥ samabhavat paśya mādhava yādṛśam ||
「まさにそのブラーフマナたちの力によって、このインドラは『千眼』となった。見よ、マーダヴァよ、彼らの威力が成し得ることを。彼らの影響で身に生じた印から、彼はサハスラークシャ（千眼）およびシャタクラトゥ（百の供犠を行う者）として知られるに至った。」
