अन्त:पुरे ततस्तस्य स्त्रियो रत्नविभूषिता:
antaḥpure tatastasyastriyo ratnavibhūṣitāḥ

The verse itself is primarily descriptive, but in context it evokes the moral tension between external splendor (wealth, ornamentation, sensual comfort) and inner discipline; it can serve as a reminder that dharma is tested amid prosperity and private power.
The speaker describes the scene inside a king’s inner palace: women in the private quarters are richly adorned with jewels, establishing the setting and atmosphere for the events that follow.
