Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
न सुतैर्न च वित्तेन कर्मणा न च तत्फलम् | प्राप्तुयात् पुरुषो&त्यन्तं गड्जां प्राप्प यदाप्रुयात्
na sutair na ca vittena karmaṇā na ca tatphalam | prāptuyāt puruṣo ’tyantaṃ gaṅgāṃ prāpya yad āpnuyāt ||
シッダは言った。「ガンガーに到り、そこで沐浴して得られる至高にして不滅の果は、子によっても、財によっても、いかなる儀礼の行いとその報いによっても、決して得ることはできない。」
