Brāhmaṇya-प्रश्नः — The Inquiry into Attaining Brāhmaṇya
Mataṅga–Gardabhī Itihāsa
यान्यगम्यानि तीर्थाणि दुर्गाणि विषमाणि च | मनसा तानि गम्यानि सर्वतीर्थसमीक्षया
yāny agamyāni tīrthāni durgāṇi viṣamāṇi ca | manasā tāni gamyāni sarvatīrthasamīkṣayā ||
もし人が、あらゆるティールタ（tīrtha、聖なる渡し・霊地）を拝見したいと切に願うなら、道が険しく地勢が荒れていて身では到れぬ巡礼地は、心によって訪れるべきである――すべてのティールタを観想し、内において省みることによって。ここに説かれるのは、真実の志と内なる想起が、身体の及ばぬところをも成就させ、しかも巡礼の倫理的目的を損なわないということである。
