Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
पुण्याहवाचनं दैवं ब्राह्मणस्य विधीयते । एतदेव निरोड्कार क्षत्रियस्य विधीयते
puṇyāhavācanaṃ daivaṃ brāhmaṇasya vidhīyate | etad eva niroḍkāra kṣatriyasya vidhīyate ||
ビーシュマは言った。「ブラーフマナには、吉祥の唱和と祝福の誦句という形で聖なる作法が定められている。だがクシャトリヤにおいては、同じ目的が『ニロードカーラ（niroḍkāra）』—剛毅で武人的な加持・奉献の様式—によって成就される。これは彼の務めにふさわしい。」
