भविष्यथ विश क्षिप्रं द्रष्टासि पितरं क्षये । माताकी बात सुनकर मैं पिताके दर्शनसे निराश हो गया और मनको संयममें रखकर महादेवजीकी आराधना करके उनका दर्शन किया। उस समय वे मुझसे बोले--“वत्स! तुम्हारे पिता
bhaviṣyatha viśa kṣipraṃ draṣṭāsi pitaraṃ kṣaye |
ガーラヴァは言った。「まもなく、お前の絶望が尽きるとき、父にまみえるであろう。」この言葉を聞いて私は、父に会えぬという失意を捨て、心を制し、マハーデーヴァを礼拝してその御姿（ダルシャナ）を得た。すると主は私に告げられた。「わが子よ、汝の父と母、そして汝—その三者は—死を免れるであろう。今すぐ家に入れ。そこにて父を拝する。」バガヴァーン・シヴァの許しを得て私は家へ戻り、ヤジュニャを修し、祭場から出て来る父を見た。父は供養の薪（サミダー）とクシャ草、そして木々から自ずと落ちた熟した果実などの供物を携えていた。
