Mahabharata — Anushasana Parva, Shloka 51
इत्युक्त्वा सुह्ृद: सर्वान् सम्परिष्वज्य चैव ह । पुनरेवाब्रवीद् धीमान् युधिष्ठिरमिदं वच:
ity uktvā suhṛdaḥ sarvān sampariṣvajya caiva ha | punar evābravīd dhīmān yudhiṣṭhiram idaṃ vacaḥ ||
そう語り終えると、賢者ビーシュマは親しき者たちすべてを抱きしめた。ついで再びユディシュティラに向き直り、こう告げた。「ユディシュティラよ、汝は常に、一般のブラーフマナすべてを敬い—とりわけ学識ある者を—また師（アーチャールヤ）と祭儀を司る祭官（ṛtvij）をも、つねに崇敬すべきである。」
