saumyā gauḥ surabhir yad devī viśravāś ca mahān ṛṣiḥ |
saṅkalpaḥ sāgaraḥ gaṅgādyāḥ sravantyo 'tha marudgaṇaḥ ||
ビーシュマは言った。「また(神々と聖仙たちの名を連ねるこの聖なる系譜の中には)、柔和なる女神の牛スラビー(Surabhi)、大聖ヴィシュラヴァ(Viśravā)、サンカルパ(Saṅkalpa)—決意の力、海、ガンガー(Gaṅgā)に始まる流れゆく諸河、そしてマルット(Maruts)の群れもまた挙げられる。」
भीष्म उवाच
