स्प्रष्टमप्पसमर्थो हि ज्वलन्तमिव पावकम् । अधर्म: संततो धर्म कालेन परिरक्षितम्
spraṣṭum apy asamartho hi jvalantam iva pāvakam | adharmaḥ santato dharmaṃ kālena parirakṣitam ||
ビーシュマは言った。「アダルマは、それに触れることすらできぬ。燃えさかる火に触れようとするがごとく無力である。ダルマは常に確立し、時（カーラ）によって四方より守護されている。ゆえに不義は、広がってダルマに触れるほどの力さえ持たぬ。」
