वक्ष्ये यदुकुलश्रेष्ठ शृणुष्वावहितो मम । वरयैनं भवं देवं भक्तस्त्वं परमेश्वरम्
vakṣye yadukulaśreṣṭha śṛṇuṣvāvahito mama | varayainaṁ bhavaṁ devaṁ bhaktas tvaṁ parameśvaram ||
ヴァーユは言った。「ヤドゥ族の最勝者よ、心を留めて我が言葉を聴け。われは汝にこれを宣べよう。汝は至上主への帰依者であるゆえ、神なる主バヴァ（シヴァ）を選び取り、受け入れよ。ゆえに、このシヴァを中心とする讃歌を受持し、わが口より慎み深く聴聞せよ。」
