सहस्रबाहु: सर्वाज्गज: शरण्य: सर्वलोककृत्‌ । पवित्र त्रिककुन्मन्त्र: कनिष्ठ: कृष्णपिज्रल:

sahasrabāhuḥ sarvāṅgajaḥ śaraṇyaḥ sarvalokakṛt | pavitraḥ trikakunmantraḥ kaniṣṭhaḥ kṛṣṇapiṅgalaḥ ||

風神ヴァーユは言った。「彼は千臂の者、あらゆる肢体において円満で、帰依に値し、諸世界の創造者である。彼は至上に清める者、三歩のガーヤトリー(Gāyatrī)としての真言。彼はアディティの子らのうち最も若き者—ヴァーマナ(Vāmana)の姿におけるヴィシュヌ(Viṣṇu)—そして玄と黄褐の主、ハリとハラ(Hari-Hara)の相を融合して帯びる。」
