सायं प्रातश्न वृद्धानां शृणुयात् पुष्कला गिर: । श्रुतमाप्रोति हि नर: सततं वृद्धसेवया
sāyaṃ prātaś ca vṛddhānāṃ śṛṇuyāt puṣkalā giraḥ | śrutam āpnoti hi naraḥ satataṃ vṛddha-sevayā ||
ビーシュマは言った。「夕べにも、また暁にも、長老たちの語る豊かな教えを余すところなく聴くがよい。老いた者に絶えず仕えることによって、人は聞いたものを真に自分のものとする――聖典の学びと確かな理解とを。」
