गुरुभ्यस्त्वासनं देयमभिवाद्याभिपूज्य च । गुरुम भ्यर्च्य वर्धन्ते आयुषा यशसा श्रिया
gurubhyas tv āsanaṁ deyam abhivādya abhipūjya ca | gurūn abhyarcya vardhante āyuṣā yaśasā śriyā ||
ビーシュマは言った。師が来たなら、まず礼拝して敬い、しかるべき作法で奉り、座を差し出せ。グル（師）を礼拝する心で仕えるなら、人の寿命・名声・繁栄は増し加わる。ゆえに、敬意ある迎えはダルマを具体に行ずる道となる。
