प्रथमो होष देवानां मुखादग्निमजीजनत्‌ । ग्रहैर्बहुविधै: प्राणान्‌ संरुद्धानुत्सूजत्यपि

Transliteration

prathamo hi sa devānāṁ mukhād agnim ajījanat | grahair bahuvidhaiḥ prāṇān saṁruddhān utsṛjati api ||

Translation

風神ヴァーユは言った。「彼こそ諸神のうち最も先なる者。みずからの口より火（アグニ）を生み出した。さまざまな星辰の災いによって生命の息（プラーナ）が塞がれた衆生でさえ、彼は解き放ち、苦しみからの安らぎを授ける。」
