भवन्तु सत्कृतानीह पूर्वमेव प्रचोदित: । ततोऊहं ज्वलमानं वै पायसं प्रत्यवेदयम्‌

Transliteration

bhavantu satkṛtānīha pūrvam eva pracoditaḥ | tato ’haṃ jvalamānaṃ vai pāyasaṃ pratyavedayam ||

Translation

ヴァーユは語った。「彼らの意図をあらかじめ知っていたので、家の者たちに、敬意をもって、上等で不足なき食と飲み物の数々を用意するよう、すでに命じておいた。すべてが私の指図どおり整っていたゆえ、私はその仙人に、湯気立つ熱いパーヤサ（乳粥）を捧げた。」
