रोषण: सर्वभूतानां सूक्ष्मेडप्यपकृते कृते । परिभाषां च मे श्रुत्वा को नु दद्यात् प्रतिश्रयम्
roṣaṇaḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ sūkṣmeḍ apy apakṛte kṛte | paribhāṣāṃ ca me śrutvā ko nu dadyāt pratiśrayam ||
ヴァーユは言った。「ごくわずかな害がなされたにすぎぬ時でさえ、怒りはあらゆる生きものに向かって燃え上がる。しかも私の警告を聞いた後で、いったい誰がなお(そのような者に)宿を与えるだろうか。」
वायुदेव उवाच
Even minor harm can provoke widespread anger and social rupture; therefore one should avoid causing injury and cultivate restraint, since wrongdoing undermines trust and makes others unwilling to offer refuge or protection.
Vāyu speaks as an instructor, warning that anger flares up even over small offenses; having heard this admonition, a prudent person would hesitate to extend shelter to someone associated with harmful conduct.
