एवं दग्धा भगवता दानवा: स्वेन तेजेसा । अगस्त्येन तदा राज॑ंस्तपसा भावितात्मना,'“राजन्‌! इस प्रकार शुद्ध अन्तःकरणवाले भगवान्‌ अगस्त्यने अपने तप और तेजसे दानवोंको दग्ध कर दिया था

Transliteration

evaṁ dagdhā bhagavatā dānavāḥ svena tejasā | agastyena tadā rājan tapasā bhāvitātmanā ||

Translation

ビーシュマは語った。「王よ、このようにしてダーナヴァらは、苦行（タパス）によって内奥を清め鍛え上げた福徳の仙アガスティヤにより、自らの霊的光輝の力で焼き尽くされたのである。」
