ममैषा सुप्रिया भार्या नैनामुत्स्रष्टमुत्सहे । “नारदजीके मुखसे उतथ्यकी यह बात सुनकर वरुणने उनसे कहा--“यह मेरी अत्यन्त प्यारी भार्या है। मैं इसे छोड़ नहीं सकता”
Transliteration
mama eṣā supriyā bhāryā nainām utsraṣṭum utsahe |
Translation
ヴァルナはその願いを聞いて答えた。「この者は、わが最も愛する妻である。私は彼女を手放すことができぬ。」この言葉は、他者の求めに応じることと、自らの婚姻の絆と責務を守ることとの間に生じる道義的葛藤を際立たせる。
