अनिच्छतस्तव विभो जन्ममृत्युरनेकत: । द्वारं तु स्वर्गमोक्षाणामाक्षेप्ता त्वं ददासि च

Transliteration

anicchatas tava vibho janma-mṛtyur anekataḥ | dvāraṁ tu svarga-mokṣāṇām ākṣeptā tvaṁ dadāsi ca, prabho ||

Translation

ヴァーユは言う。「あまねく力を具える主よ、汝が恩寵を垂れんと欲せぬとき、衆生はさまざまのあり方で生死を幾度も繰り返す。天界と解脱への門は汝自身であり、汝はその到達を妨げることもでき、またただ汝のみが両者を授け給う、主よ。」
