Shloka 11
दण्डकानां महदू राज्यं ब्राह्मणेन विनाशितम् । तालजंघं महाक्षत्रमौर्वेगेकेन नाशितम्
daṇḍakānāṁ mahad rājyaṁ brāhmaṇena vināśitam | tālajaṅghaṁ mahākṣatram aurvegekena nāśitam ||
アルジュナは言った。「ダンダカの大国は、ただ一人のブラーフマナによって滅ぼされた。さらに、タラジャンガと呼ばれる強大なクシャトリヤの系統も、聖仙アウルヴァがただ一人で滅ぼし尽くした。」この言葉は戒めである。権勢も血統も、苦行の威力と正義の憤りから生じる怒りを招いた者を守りはしない。アダルマは、霊力に富む一人の者を通してさえ、滅亡をもたらし得る。
