न तेषां विद्यते दुःखं गच्छन्ति परमां गतिम् । ये शृण्वन्ति महद् ब्रह्म सावित्रीगुणकीर्तनम्
na teṣāṃ vidyate duḥkhaṃ gacchanti paramāṃ gatim | ye śṛṇvanti mahad brahma sāvitrī-guṇa-kīrtanam ||
ビーシュマは言った。サーヴィトリー（ガーヤトリー真言）の徳を讃える崇高なる讃歌——それは至上のブラフマンと同一視される——を聴く者は、悲しみに触れられることがない。彼らは最高の到達処に至る。この教えは、信をもって聴聞し、聖なる智を敬って讃えることが、内なる解放と究竟の成就へ向かうダルマの道であると示す。
