Transliteration

ity ete dvādaśādityāḥ kāśyapeyā iti śrutiḥ |

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。「かくして、これらが十二のアーディティヤである。シュルティ（śruti、啓示の伝承）は、彼らがカश्यパの子であると宣言する。」この教説は、太陽神群を聖なる系譜のうちに位置づけ、宇宙の秩序が公認された神々の血統と権威ある啓示によって支えられることを示している。
